How to Be There for a Friend when They Need You the MostEveryone has friends that go through tough times. When they go through these times, you want to be there for them. You want to help them. Here is the best way to.
1. Let them know you are there for them. You might feel troubled for them, or maybe even sad. The best thing to do is let them know that you are there for them.
* They might not want to talk to you right at the moment, but that's ok. Just tell them that you will be there for them when they are ready to talk.
2. Next you just wait for them to come around. It might be days, weeks, or maybe even months, but patience is golden.
3. Once they come around, they will start to just talk to you. Listen, don't half listen, or pretend to be listening. That is the worst thing you can do.
4. You can give them advice but be cautious on what advice you give them.
5. The most important rule is, never start talking against who ever they may be talking about. It will come around and kick you in the end.
6. Remember, don't let them go and do something stupid, even if they say it will help them. It will just get you both in trouble.
7. The final thing you can do for them is to be there for them. Make sure they know you care about them, and if they start to say something about doing something to themselves, tell them why you think it is a bad idea. Don't start to tell them what to do, cause they will take it the wrong way.
